How to Play

Play Escape Masters online for free. Escape Masters is a 15-level prison escape game where players dig through the sand to collect coins, find other prisoners, and make their way to a getaway vehicle. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Click on the purple button with the white arrow to start the game
    • If you have played the game in the past your progress is stored in your local web browser and the start button will bring up the furthest level you have played.
      • Click on the yellow button with 4 white squares in it to bring up the level select screen if you want to play a different level.
      • Game Controls
        • General controls
          • There is a sound control button in the lower left corner.
          • When you are inside the levels there are level restart and home buttons in the upper left and right sides of the screen.
            • Touchscreen
              • Tap where you want the sand to be removed.
              • Repeat. 🙂
                • Keyboard & Mouse
                  • Click where you want the sand to be removed.

                  • Strategy
                    • If you get stuck do not be afraid to click the level restart button on the upper left edge of the screen.
                    • After the first level you will need to pick up other prisoners from in the sand puzzle on most levels.
                      • On some levels there are more prisoners than the required goal to beat the level.
                      • In some cases you will need to have the prisoner fall down to your path while in other cases you will need to adjust your path to go past the prisoner.
                      • Coins are buried in the sand.
                        • The game counts your cumulative coin collection, though the coins can’t be spent or used for anything.
                        • Some coins are not easy to get and may make the level impossible to beat if you get them.
                        • If you play through a level again any additional coins picked up get added to your overall coin total.
                          • Your player is quite adapt at falling, but is quite terrible at climbing a steep grade unless using a ladder. With that in mind:
                            • Sometimes it can make sense to take a higher than optimal route before falling if you are inside the sands.
                            • If you are approaching a fixed block make sure you do not remove too much sand in front of it & ensure your prisoners have a smooth path to walk onto it.
                            • Level obstacles
                              • Some levels have bombs you have to run into in order to have them blow up a nearby wall. These bombs do not hurt you.
                              • Some levels have blocks or planks which need to be moved in order to pass through.
                                • The only way to move these is to dig out the area underneath them so they fall.
                                • If a plank or block does not fall you may need to click near the edge of the screen and move back and forth to ensure the path is clear for it to fall down.
