Robo Battle is an 18-stage level escape platformer game where you control a robot who must get past other robots and dangerous obstacles including spikes, sawblades and lasers. Can you earn all 54 stars? This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the blue and white button at the bottom of the game loading screen to bring up the game’s welcome screen.

- The game has 18 levels unlocked sequentially.
- Initially only the first level is unlocked. Each time you beat a level you unlock the next level.
- The level select screen shows the star rating you earned on each level. You can go back and replay any unlocked level to try to earn a higher star rating on it.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
- The welcome screen also has the following buttons
  - sound control in upper right corner
  - across the bottom from left to right: game developer info, erase game progress, in game achievements, and a more games button linking to our homepage

      - Use the left and right arrow keys to move left and right.
      - Use the up arrow key to jump.
      - Press the A key to shoot your gun.
      - Touchscreen devices
        
        Use the on-screen controls.
        
        The lower left corner has move left and move right buttons.
        
        The lower right corner has buttons to jump and shoot.
        
        This game requires precise timing and movements, so it is easier to play on desktop computers with a stand alone keyboard than on mobile devices.
        
        Controls & indicators
        
        Across the top it shows which level you are on, how much health you have remaining, and has buttons to control game sounds and pause the game.
        
        Above your robot there is a status bar which shows how much ammo (or energy) you have left. Collect the blue circles with a lightning bolt symbol on them to fully restore energy.
        
        Game Play
        
        Levels
        
        This game has 18 levels which must be completed sequentially.
        
        Most levels allow you to win simply by making it to the level exit door even if you do not shoot any enemies or collect anything, however some levels do have a gate before the final exit which require you to collect a key to unlock it.
        
        You earn a star rating on each level based on how much health you have remaining when you beat the level. Each heart container or hit point is worth a star.
        
        You can go back and replay any level at any time to try to earn a higher star rating.
        
        Dying
        
        Most robot enemies only take away 1 of your 3 units of health per hit, however some robots which fire quickly may shoot at you multiple times quickly.
        
        Obstacles like (vertical or horizontal) lasers and spikes kill you in a single hit.
        
        Anytime you die you start back at the beginning of the level.
        
        Achievements
        
        This game has 8 achievements you unlock as you play.
        
        Levels: beat 1 level, beat 6 levels, & beat all 18 levels.
        
        Enemies hit: Destroy 10, 20, & 30 enemies. If you die during a level then any enemies you killed during that play do not count.
        
        Stars: collect 24 stars & collect all 54 stars.
        
        Strategy
        
        Most enemies you need to shoot take between 3 to 5 shots to destroy.
        
        Try to destroy them completely or take away most of their health from afar before getting close to them.
        
        Some enemies will only shoot at you while they face you and are close to you. If you can not shoot them from afar then you can chase them after they start walking away from you and shoot them while they are facing the opposite direction.
        
        Some of the security cameras near the ceilings can be shot from afar jumping up from a platform, but some are hard to destroy. If you can’t easily destroy them then run past their range.
        
        Avoid touching any spikes, spinning blades, or lasers or you die.
        
        Your gun can be in the position of the laser without you getting hurt, but if you do then you are toast.
        
        Spinning blades have a set path they go down & there are often multiple blades sharing a path. Knowing where those paths start and end help you time jumps, particularly if there are nearby lasers.
        
        When lasers are horizontal and you are climbing be ready to jump twice immediately to jump onto the platform they are near then the platform above that one.
        
        Time
        
        Levels are not timed, so try to break longer and more complex levels into sections & time your moves to minimize how many enemies and types of enemies you are dealing with at any point in time.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for people who like simple platforming room escape games.
        
        This game requires precise timing and movements, so it can be frustrating to younger children who haven’t developed their motor skills & those who are inexperienced with gaming.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
